The more uncommonly used ingredient in Western cuisine for soup is conch and chicken feet.

Conch is a type of marine snail with a hard sea shell. Conch meat has a mild, sweet clam-like flavor, and is exceptionally delicious in soups. Conch is a lean protein with good source of iron and calcium. According to FishWatch, it is high in vitamin E, B12, magnesium, selenium and folate. Dried conch can usually be found in Chinese Herbal stores. Sometimes you can find frozen conch in your local Asian supermarket and they are just as good.

Chicken feet consist of skin, cartilage, tendons, and bones. Yes, it is a bit unnerving to think that any type of feet would be appetizing to eat but according to Healthline, they are high in collagen, and that may help relieve joint pain.
